A big city detective urged to solve the murder of a small town man. If she wants answers, she has to go to the source of all his core memories. In the process, she discovers there's something a little off about the town and something powerful about her connection with one of its residence.
You know the connection. The one that leaves your world turning misty. The people around you begin to fade. you feel a see of eyes watching you and a presence surrounding you like a warm blanket. Went to solve a murder and came back with a man. It's been six month six Melanie first visited Coryville and now that she's back in town, things are starting to get a little chaotic. Not only is her connection growing in ways she didn't imagine but, that same connection, is threatening their relationship. But that's not the only threat to their relationship. There's a sheep walking around with the wolves and they have their eyes on the big city detective.
After six months, Melanie is back in Coryville. This time, she's able to relax and take in the true environment of the small town. However, things aren't going exactly how they'd hoped. An unexpected visitor comes to town, trying to drive a wedge between them. Likewise, the "Pissed Coryviller" is now on the prowl and ready to strike. But those aren't the only secrets bubbling to the surface. Can their relationship survive?
